We know about Ophiuchus, so stop blaming your zodiac sign for everything

Astrology is fun but don’t avoid dating someone because of it

While social media users were in an uproar over Diddy stopping Lizzo from twerking* and letting Draya twerk on, I was more flustered about something else during the Instagram Live fundraiser on April 12. The “Juice” singer completely dismissed Diddy’s son Quincy** once he said he was a Gemini.

Not only is the man nice on the eyes and looks stunning booed up with a chocolate woman (hello, KeKe Palmer), but he seems like a good guy. In all fairness, Lizzo could’ve been joking. But some people really live and breathe their astrology signs — both the good and the bad. It’s as if they haven’t gotten the news that they may not be the astrology sign that they think they are.

Late-20s-Shamontiel would’ve clicked “Report this story” on Medium for trying to downplay the nightmare that was “dating a Virgo.” Ugh! Gross!

In Dr. Neil F. Comins’ 2017 book “The Traveler’s Guide to Space: For One-Way Settlers and Round-Trip Tourists,” the Ph.D. space expert left some die-hard astrology enthusiasts in an uproar. How dare he tell people that there are 13 zodiac signs, not 12! And it all came down to a constellation sign called Ophiuchus, the zodiac sign that rearranged everyone’s excuse for their personalities.

According to his book, this is your actual zodiac sign:

  • Capricorn — January 19–February 18

  • Aquarius — February 18–March 13

  • Pisces — March 13–April 20

  • Aries — April 20–May 13

  • Taurus — May 13–June 21

  • Gemini — June 21–July 20

  • Cancer — July 20–August 11

  • Leo — August 11–September 18

  • Virgo — September 18–November 1

  • Libra — November 1–November 22

  • Scorpius (or Scorpio) — November 22–December 1

  • Ophiuchus — December 1–December 19

  • Sagittarius — December 19–January 19

A newfound Virgo on Psychology Today did her own unscientific study, telling people that they were a new astrological sign and was met with “vehement denial” and “anger.” But how did this change happen?
